But I can tell you one thing: if you feel weary about fandom and your fannish activities are starting to feel more like a chore than something that energises you; I'd say you're spending too much time in fandom. If, however, you're incredibly enthusiastic about everything and just want to read/ write/ beta etc. all the fic, you're probably spending too little time here :p
